Inverness Music Festival
There was no Scottish Country Dancing Section at the Inverness Music Festival in 2023 - due in part to a lack of sufficient space at the new venue at the Methodist Church. Here's hoping for a return in 2024 !?

2. The Sunday Class Dance
Amanda Peart of the Sunday Class group has joined the team of presenters at RadioGH. (http://www.radiogh.co.uk/)
She will present a programme of Scottish Country Dances of the type you might expect to find on a typical dance programme. The show will be live on RadioGH on Sunday afternoons (4.00pm UK Summer Time) then repeated on other days. If you miss the RadioGH programmes you can "Listen Again" at http://thesundayclass.org.uk/dances.htm after the Sunday programme.

26 January 2024Glasgow Branch - ‘100th Anniversary Dances’
Hello I am writing to let you know the update on the publication of ‘100th Anniversary Dances’ by Glasgow Branch.
I am delighted to be able to tell you that all the music for Glasgow Branch’s ‘100th Anniversary Dances’ has now been recorded and is available on Bandcamp :– glasgowrscds.bandcamp.com (click on External Link).
You can purchase all 13 tracks or individual tracks, if you prefer.
There are still some copies of the book available at £10 plus postage. There is also a PDF version at £5.

MiniCrib Security Update
I am pleased to be able to report that we have now upgraded our website to SECURE. To ensure that you access the secure website please use the address: https://minicrib.org.uk
We suggest that you check and update any bookmark or link that you may have for MiniCrib on your computer to point to the above address.
More that 30 cribs have been added in the February update - some new dances and also filling in the gaps in our cribs for older dance books. The total number of cribs in our collection is now just over 6,900.
As always, we are pleased to receive suggestions for dances to be cribbed or for improvements to dance cribs.
